The ReporteR is a palm-sized system that rapidly identifies materials through their unique spectroscopic signature. Real-time and accurate identification of an unknown substance occurs by comparing its unique molecular fingerprint to reference materials stored in a spectral library. Results are displayed on a highly visible display that enables non-technical users to employ the device. The ReporteR is customer programmable for new material library entries and software up-grades.
